Masjid Al-Salam Ramadan Programs
Masjid Al-Salam offers a wide range of programs for Ramadan. The schedule includes daily Taraweeh prayers, youth activities, fundraising events, and community Iftars.
📝 Important Guidelines for Visitors
To ensure a safe and peaceful experience for everyone, the masjid has shared important rules to follow during Ramadan:
- Parking & Traffic: Please carpool to reduce congestion. Drive slowly in the parking lot.
- Food & Prayer Areas: No food is allowed inside prayer areas. All food must be consumed in the gym or outside and properly disposed of.
- Children: Parents must keep children with them at all times. Babysitting is available during the first 8 Rakahs of Taraweeh.
- General Conduct: Follow instructions from security and administration. Enter through assigned doors and maintain silence during Salah

Activities for Ramadan

| Daily Worship & Taraweeh | Daily Taraweeh & Khaterah after Isha. Led by a team of Huffaz, with a 10-minute Khaterah after every four Rak’ah.

| Iftar & Community Meals | Community Iftar is served in the Gym on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays for the first two weeks, then daily for the rest of Ramadan. Sponsored by various community groups. Suhoor Night & Potlucks for youth and community |
| Youth & Family Programs | Do’s & Donuts of Ramadan (Kids Edition).
Youth Quran Night, Sisters’ & Brothers’ Iftar Potlucks. |
| Spiritual Retreat (I’tikaf) | Starts after Asr on the 20th night of Ramadan. Separate arrangements for men and women. Registration is required |
| Charity & Fundraising | Zakat-ul-Fitr: $15 per person, payable before Eid Salah. Multiple fundraisers: “Share the Khayr”, Masjid Expenses, Education Building, Annual Fundraiser. |
| Eid-ul-Fitr Prayers | Multiple prayers planned for March 30, with different Imams leading. Eid excuse letters for students/employers are available. |
